7 things to check at your parents' home
Go through this on your next visit, or ask us to.
- Taps and pipes: Dripping taps, damp walls and wet patches under the sink.
- Bathroom floor: Slippery tiles from scale, blocked drains and standing water.
- Switches and sockets: Loose, sparking or warm points, especially near the bed and kitchen.
- MCB and earthing: An MCB that keeps tripping, or a shock from an appliance.
- Geyser: A geyser that trips the power or has an old connection.
- Water tank and sump: Silt or algae, and how long since the last cleaning.
- AC: Weak cooling or water dripping, and a service before summer.

What is Parents' Home Care?
It is a home repair service for families who live away from their parents' home in Hubballi–Dharwad. You message Nofikr on WhatsApp, we send the technician to your parents' home, and you get the updates and the bill. The yearly plan is ₹1,999.
Is this nursing or medical care?
No. Nofikr does home repairs and upkeep: plumbing, electrical, AC, bathroom and tank cleaning, and CCTV. We do not provide nurses, attendants or medical care.
What does the ₹1,999 yearly plan include?
Two home checks a year (one plumbing, one electrical), a written list of what needs fixing, priority for the next free time, and photos and bills on your WhatsApp. Repairs are charged separately at the normal price on the website, and only after you have seen the price.
Do I need the plan to book a job for my parents?
No. You can book any single job at the normal price. The plan is for families who want regular checks and one place to keep track.
Can I book from Bengaluru or from abroad?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp from any country. We are in India time and open 9 AM to 6 PM every day. Your parents need to be at home, or someone else you trust, for the visit.
Who pays, and how?
Whoever you choose. Your parents can pay after the job by UPI or cash, or you can pay from your own UPI. You always get a digital invoice.
Who comes to my parents' home?
A Nofikr technician. Before the visit we share the technician's name and phone number, and the technician calls before reaching. The work carries a 30-day service warranty.
Which areas do you cover?
Hubballi and Dharwad, including Vidyanagar, Gokul Road, Keshwapur, Deshpande Nagar, Navanagar, Unkal, Old Hubli, Akshay Colony and nearby areas.
