Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the basic rules that apply when you request, schedule, receive, pay for, or use Nofikr home maintenance services.

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. Services covered

Nofikr currently provides home maintenance services in the service categories offered on the platform, including Plumbing, Electrical home maintenance, and AC Repair.

A booking is limited to the service and specific sub-service selected or approved for that booking. Additional work is not automatically included merely because it is discovered during a visit.

2. Full payment policy

Nofikr accepts full payment for a confirmed billable service.

Where an invoice is generated for the requested work, the customer is required to pay the full invoiced amount before the service is treated as fully payable/confirmed under the applicable booking flow.

Payment status shown in the Nofikr system and the final invoice are the primary records for the booking.

3. Pricing, billable items and additional work

Prices shown on Nofikr are based on the applicable rate card, selected sub-services, quantities, and billable items.

If the technician identifies work outside the originally selected job, that additional work should be separately approved and added as a billable item before it is charged.

Replacement parts, materials, special components, or work not included in the selected service may be charged separately where applicable. The customer should review the billable items before payment.

4. Technician visit and service execution

Nofikr may assign an appropriate technician based on service type, availability, location, and operational requirements.

The customer must provide reasonable access to the service location and ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible and safe.

A technician may stop or decline work where the location or equipment presents an unsafe condition, requires specialist work outside the booked service, or cannot reasonably be worked on.

5. Customer information and service location

Customers are responsible for providing accurate name, mobile number, service address, appointment information, and relevant service details.

Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays, rescheduling, or an unsuccessful visit.

6. Service warranty

Where a warranty is provided, its exact start date and end date are shown on the applicable invoice or customer account.

The warranty is intended to cover the eligible service/work performed by Nofikr for the specific job covered by that invoice. It does not automatically cover unrelated faults, newly added work, normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, external causes, unauthorized modification, or parts and conditions specifically excluded on the invoice or service terms.

Warranty requests should be raised through Nofikr with the relevant booking/invoice details and a clear description of the issue. Nofikr may inspect the issue before approving a warranty resolution.

7. Nofikr Protect membership

Membership benefits apply only to the services and sub-services included in the customer's active membership plan.

Membership validity is determined by the plan's duration and the activation/payment records maintained by Nofikr.

Membership coverage does not mean that every repair, spare part, material, emergency visit, or unrelated service is free. The applicable plan coverage and exclusions should be checked before requesting work.

8. Appointment, delays and rescheduling

Appointment dates and times are service targets and may be affected by technician availability, traffic, weather, access issues, prior jobs, emergencies, or other operational factors.

Nofikr will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to the appointment.

If the customer is unavailable or the location cannot be accessed at the agreed time, the visit may need to be rescheduled and additional visit charges may apply where applicable and communicated to the customer.

9. Cancellation and refund

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage of the booking, payment status, technician dispatch/visit status, and any applicable charges already incurred.

A payment does not automatically guarantee a full refund after technician travel, inspection, work, or other chargeable activity has already occurred.

Any approved refund will be processed using the applicable payment/refund process and may be subject to the conditions communicated for that booking.

10. Photos and service records

Nofikr may maintain before-and-after work photographs, technician work notes, job status, timestamps, invoice details, and other service records for operational, quality, customer support, warranty, and dispute-resolution purposes.

Job records are maintained against the relevant booking and individual job/service so that separate services at the same property can be distinguished.

11. Customer account and security

Customers are responsible for keeping access to their registered mobile number and account credentials reasonably secure.

Customers should notify Nofikr if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization or their registered mobile number is no longer under their control.

12. Invoices and records

The invoice generated for a booking records the applicable services, billable items, taxes where applicable, payment status, and warranty information.

Customers should retain the invoice for future warranty, service-history, or support requirements.

13. Limitation and service conditions

Nofikr will make reasonable efforts to provide the booked service professionally. However, the outcome of repair work may depend on the condition, age, design, installation, wiring, plumbing, equipment, spare parts, or other circumstances outside the technician's control.

Nofikr is not responsible for pre-existing defects or unrelated failures that are not part of the booked work.

14. Changes to these terms

Nofikr may update these terms when its services, pricing, operational processes, membership structure, payment methods, or legal requirements change.

The version displayed on the website at the time of the applicable transaction will be the relevant version, subject to applicable law.

15. Support and disputes

Customers should first contact Nofikr support with the booking ID, invoice number, and relevant service details so that the issue can be reviewed against the service records.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
